The Transmission

You are standing at the intersection of my history and my healing.

I write how I talk and I talk how I write—an intentional peculiar, either bound to make you laugh or provoke a shift.

EITHER WAY: I AM HERE.

I am an amoeba in a human suit—constantly shifting, evolving, and unearthing new layers of the self. While the work is deep, the person is real.

Here I am always shifting, listening for the echoes of other souls. Whether it’s the heavy shadows or the dreamy sparks, I’m here for the unfiltered truth.

Q01 // Sensory Grounding 🌿

When you need to bring your spirit back into your body, what physical ritual, sound, texture, or routine actually works for you?

"Grounding yourself is a practice. 🌧️ I love the sound of rain, drinking tea (never coffee when I’m already upset), listening to music—specifically lo-fi or jazz 🎷—and I have a personal, one-on-one relationship with my good friend Mary. 😉🍃 So yeah, that’s probably my thing. And, of course, writing. 📝 I write every single thing down. I process it first and give myself time, but this too was—and still is—a practice. We’re human beings."

Q02 // The Medium & Experience 🎬

Aside from writing, how do you process the world around you?

"Aside from writing, I process the world through experience. ✨ It’s funny—I was watching Curb Your Enthusiasm the other day, trying to figure out why I connected so much with how he goes about things. I took some time, did some thinking, and realized that in this specific episode, we both collect experiences. 🕵️‍♀️ Although he’s a writer, he thought for the day that he’d make an absolute great car salesman. I realized right then and there: Yeah, that’s me! Literally.

I questioned it for a second—is it just me, or is that a writer thing? The fact that I can imagine a life where I can physically do anything I set my mind to is delusionally fascinating to me in the most innocent, serious sense. 🌌 I admire the courage and the wonder of it. I also think it’s hilarious, and it’s the very thing in my shadow I’m still working to heal—or maybe at this point, just admit. I’m not perfect, but as human beings, we want to be. We crave to be good at everything, to be seen, to be understood. 🫂 I get it. That is certainly me in more ways than others. I don’t crave performance, but I do wish to be felt in the exact way I feel and experience life within me. ❤️"

Q03 // The Safe Harbor 🕯️

What does true "safety" look and feel like to you when you are completely depleted or doing heavy inner work?

"Omg, I love this question so much. 🖤 True safety to me looks like finally being able to let the FUCK go—and by that, I mean literally letting yourself just be. You can finally let the emotions you've been shoving down time and time again go. You can give them a name, give them space, and give them room to breathe. 🌬️ Like seriously, this is important. If you keep shoving down anger, sadness, and grief, then when it actually arises, what will you do? How will you regulate? How will you meet it where it needs to be met and deal with shit head-on? That’s the only way to grow. 🌱

Welcome to me, ctfu. 😭 Clearly, as I’ve been told before, nothing is ever simple with me, and things can get complicated. I say that in the best way now, because some of that just meant those people weren’t for me. But there are parts that are true—hell yeah, I’m intricate and detailed when you ask me something. I analyze and I ask questions. Shouldn't we all? Sometimes a simple yes or no isn't good enough for me, though I can say both. Ctfu! 🙂 True safety is finally being able to sit with the parts of yourself—like the ones I just shared, whether people agree with them or not—and say: Yeah, I like her. I am okay with me. ✨"

Q04 // Proof of Life 🫀

What reminds you that you are real and surviving in this world?

"Things that remind me I'm real and surviving in this world? Easy. This. Writing. 🖋️ Literally diving into the very facets of myself every single day. It's quite addicting, honestly. Free will. 🕊️ Choice. The fact that I can choose anything, every single day—yeah, it doesn't get any more real than that."
