This is how it all started.
I just began.
I didn’t think.
I just did.
I didn’t wonder,
I just became.
I didn’t veer—I stayed the course, no matter how rough,
and how unsure waters became,
I patched the rocky boat that led me ashore.
Here, I am, building something new from the sand,
on a beach I never once knew.
